PCR 8-Strip Tube and Optically Clear Flat Cap, Combined, 0.2mL

Get the most from your qPCR with our standard profile, 0.2ml well volume, 8-PCR tube and optically clear flat cap strips.  Precision molded using only ultra-clear, virgin, medical grade polypropylene for clarity and sample visualization.  When used together they create a secure and proper fit for precise thermal transfer with minimal evaporation.

Optically clear flat cap strips are ideal for fluorescence detection, luminescence, and imaging techniques including qPCR.  The upper surfaces are extremely clear and offer greatly improved light transmittance over standard flat caps. Light signals pass through uninhibited for consistent and reliable qPCR performance.

Caps have longer cap flanges that produce a tight fit and reduce sample evaporation.  Tubes and caps are regularly quality tested for evaporation rates and must exhibit less than 3% sample loss.

Durable bands between the wells keep these strips from breaking apart inadvertently but are easily cut with scissors into smaller sections or individual tubes. Cap strips have large end tabs for easy removal and are labeled for orientation.  They are easy to apply and remove without breaking.

Recommended for low to medium throughput applications, these tubes are designed to fit all standard 0.2mL block thermal cyclers.  Their thin and consistent wall thickness optimizes heat transfer to maximize yield.
