Tube strips with attached domed caps minimize evaporation especially when used with small sample volumes, in thermal cyclers with heated lids, or older units. Precision molded as a single part creates a secure and proper fit for precise thermal transfer with minimal evaporation.
ILP domed cap strips are designed to assist condensate to re-enter the reaction mixture and in heat transfer. Caps have longer cap flanges that produce a tight fit and reduce sample evaporation. Tubes with attached caps are regularly quality tested for evaporation rates and must exhibit less than 3% sample loss.

Each tube is joined to a cap making cross contamination with the wrong cap impossible. Their thin and consistent wall thickness optimizes heat transfer to maximize yield.
Recommended for low to medium throughput applications, these tubes are designed to fit all standard 0.2mL block thermal cyclers. Caps are angularly attached to allow full loading of standard thermal blocks and racks.
Durable bands between the wells keep these strips ridged, easy to handle, and durable. Sections of tubes will not inadvertently break apart but are easily cut with scissors into smaller sections or individual tubes.
