PCR Attached 8-Strip Tube and Optically Clear Flat Cap, qPCR, 0.2mL

Molded as a single part, our standard profile, 0.2ml 8-tube with attached optically clear flat cap strips make cross contamination and missing caps a thing of the past.  Achieve even and precise thermal transfer while minimizing evaporation in your qPCR.  Precision molded using only ultra-clear, virgin, medical grade polypropylene for clarity and sample visualization.

Optically clear flat cap strips are ideal for fluorescence detection, luminescence, and imaging techniques including qPCR.  The upper surfaces are extremely clear and offer greatly improved light transmittance over standard flat caps. Light signals pass through uninhibited for consistent and reliable qPCR performance.

Caps have longer cap flanges that produce a tight fit and reduce sample evaporation.  Tubes with attached caps are regularly quality tested for evaporation rates and must exhibit less than 3% sample loss.

Each tube is joined to a cap making cross contamination with the wrong cap impossible.  Their thin and consistent wall thickness optimizes heat transfer to maximize yield.

Recommended for low to medium throughput applications, these tubes are designed to fit all standard 0.2mL block thermal cyclers.  Caps are angularly attached to allow full loading of standard thermal blocks and racks.

Durable bands between the wells keep these strips ridged, easy to handle, and durable.  Sections of tubes will not inadvertently break apart but are easily cut with scissors into smaller sections or individual tubes.
