Individual tubes with attached domed caps minimize evaporation especially when used with small sample volumes, in thermal cyclers with heated lids, or older units. Achieve even and precise thermal transfer while minimizing evaporation with our 0.2ml, attached dome cap tubes.
The domed cap design is to assist condensate to re-enter the reaction mixture and gain contact with heated lids for improved heat transfer.
Precision molded as a single part creates parts with uniform fit and reduce sample evaporation. Tubes with attached caps are regularly quality tested for evaporation rates and must exhibit less than 3% sample loss.
