VIASURE Sexual Health Real Time PCR Detection Kit is designed for the diagnosis of infectious diseases caused by different pathogens in human samples. This product range is based on 5’ nuclease chemistry. This technology utilizes two primers and a hydrolysis probe and exploits the exonuclease activity of Taq DNA polymerase.

During the amplification, the increase in the fluorescent signal is proportional to the quantity of target sequence present in the sample and could be measured on a wide range of Real Time PCR platforms. VIASURE® Real Time PCR Detection Reagents contain all the necessary components in each well for Real Time PCR assay in a stabilized format, which allows the shipment at room temperature. Monoplex reagents provide maximum flexibility and compatibility with leading open system thermal cyclers.

Treponema pallidum (TPA)

VIASURE Treponema pallidum Real Time PCR Detection Kit is designed for detection of Treponema pallidum in urogenital specimens from patients with signs and symptoms of sexually transmitted diseases.

This test is intended to be used as an aid in the diagnosis of Treponema pallidum in combination with clinical and epidemiological risk factors.

DNA is extracted from specimens, multiplied using Real Time amplification and detected using fluorescent reporter dye probe specific for Treponema pallidum.

Streptococcus B (GBS)

VIASURE Streptococcus B Real Time PCR Detection Kit is designed for the specific identification of Streptococcus B in vaginal rectal swabs samples from patients with signs and symptoms of Streptococcus B infection.

This test is intended to be used as an aid in the diagnosis of Streptococcus B infection in combination with clinical and epidemiological risk factors.

DNA is extracted from specimens, multiplied using Real Time amplification and detected using specific primers and a fluorescent reporter dye probe for Streptococcus B.
